DuctThe Part & Sheet Management module in CAM2000S provides a clear overview of all parts to be produced, available sheets and completed nests.
All parts to be produced are stored in a central order database, while standard sheets, skeleton sheets and remnants are managed in the sheet database.
Parts can be added individually or imported automatically from a cutting list. The corresponding DXF files are automatically retrieved and linked to the relevant order and part information, including:
For the different tables, CAM2000S provides clear management screens where users can easily search, filter, sort and navigate through the data. A separate preview window immediately displays the geometry of the selected part or active nest.
From the part management module, nesting preparations can be created automatically based on factors such as:
These preparations can then be processed automatically by CAM2000S into complete nests. If required, this workflow can be fully automated so that the generated programs are immediately available for the machine.
Every nest is stored together with its detailed information and can later be reopened and modified.
CAM2000S also supports continued nesting on skeleton sheets that have already been partially cut. Usable pieces of sheet remaining after cutting can be registered as remnants and reused for future nesting jobs.
This allows available material to be used as efficiently as possible and helps reduce scrap.
During post-processing, CAM2000S automatically updates the quantities that have actually been nested.
