Post-calculation

The CIM2000 post-calculation provides a clear overview of the actual costs incurred for an order.

If an order has not yet been fully completed, an interim post-calculation or snapshot can be created. This makes it possible to check during execution whether the intended cost targets are still likely to be achieved. This is particularly useful for large or important orders.

The post-calculation takes into account:

  • Material costs – based on the actual purchase price when material was purchased specifically for the order. For materials taken from stock, the applicable stock price is used.
  • Recorded working hours – actual hours are calculated using the hourly rates of work centres, employees and, where applicable, shift systems.
  • Execution differences – if operations were carried out on different work centres than originally planned, this is taken into account.
  • Subcontracted operations – actual costs of externally performed work are included.
  • Additional costs – such as transport, repairs, engineering or other project-specific expenses.

A comparison between the pre-calculation and post-calculation can then be generated. Significant differences between estimated and actual costs are clearly highlighted.

The format and content of the post-calculation can be configured using the report generator.

Additional reports are also available for efficiency, work in progress (WIP), revenues and costs. This provides insight not only into the final cost price, but also into the performance and profitability of individual orders.
